Student Testimonials

Mike Bordieri

The coursework and didactic training in the BAT program instilled in me a solid conceptual understanding of behavior analysis.  But where the program truly shined was the myriad of supervised fieldwork and research opportunities that the faculty created for me.

Each January we open our doors to potential students for  the SIU BAT Program Open House.  Contact Dr. Nicole Heal to schedule an individualized visit if you missed this event and wish to come explore what SIU can offer you.  We are very accommodating of your schedule.

The open house or a personalized visit are the best way to see the opportunities that SIU can give you as a graduate student.

Typical Events Include:

  • Meet with BAT Faculty Members
  • Tour of SIU Autism Center
  • Tour of SIU Campus and Computer/Classroom Facilities
  • Lab Visit
  • Project 12-Ways Staff and Student Meeting
  • Housing Options
  • Meeting with Current Masters and Ph.D. Students

Avoid the stress of an "interview weekend" and come hang out in a friendly social environment.
